Business Development Associate

Prager Microsystems is looking to add Business Development Associates to our growing team. Your job is not to just sell; it is to be a matchmaker. The goal for your job is to first understand who we are and what we do. Once you understand that, the goal is then to use a consultative selling approach to build relationships and see if a “match” can be made.

We truly believe that finding the right clients that match our team is the best way to grow, advance and succeed. We are looking for someone with a passion for online marketing with the business acumen, organization and the attention to detail needed to manage new client opportunities. This individual needs to be resourceful, have amazing follow through, and take a personal stake in the success of each client that is brought onboard. Experience working in an agency setting and selling digital consulting services is a major plus. You should learn the ins and outs of digital strategy so you then can provide consultative insights to prospective clients. This is a critical part of the sales process at Prager.

Job Summary:

Make no mistake; this is a sales position which requires an energetic and strategic entrepreneur who will champion Prager Microsystems in their local territory. As a Business Development Associate, you’ll use a consultative selling approach to build relationships with small and medium-sized businesses. You’ll have the opportunity to sell a broad set of solutions from our extensive portfolio, such as:

  • Responsive Website Design & Development
  • Organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Paid Search / Google AdWords Management (PPC)
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Content Writing / Strategy
  • Email Marketing
  • Supporting services including Web Hosting, Video Production, and Custom Web Analytics

Job Skills & Core Responsibilities: 

  • Employ consultative selling techniques to fully assess prospect needs, challenges, and goals
  • Consult face-to-face with local clients
  • Promote and demonstrate the value of our products and services
  • Generate sales in your local territory via telephone and onsite meetings
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain meaningful relationships with clients
  • Determine vertical and territory plan to achieve sales goals
  • Report regularly on prospects at different stages of the sales cycle
  • Assist with the preparation of and present proposals
  • Ensure smooth project transition from sales to project managers
  • Ongoing work with project managers to recognize opportunities to cross-sell services and ideas

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Proven prospecting and cold calling experience
  • Media sales experience a plus
  • Effective communication and client presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks
