Benner's Gardens is a family owned and operated national mail order deer fence business. Founded in 1992, the company provides time-tested deer fence control systems for home gardeners, landscape professionals, nurserymen, fruit & vegetable growers, vintners, and fencing contractors throughout the United States and Canada.

Problem:
With a very elaborate and expensive traditional marketing strategy already in place, Benner's Gardens was investing an enormous amount of capital in magazine and trade show advertising without a clear understanding of how each medium was impacting sales. As one of the first clients since opening in 2003, Benner's Gardens took a chance with a very young Prager Microsystems (only months old at the time) and engaged services to build and market their web presence from the grassroots level on up.

Solution:
Numerous design revisions, a sophisticated internal linking structure and page after page of copywriting just scratches the surface as to the work performed to guide Benner's Gardens to where they are today. When coupled with multivariate testing and proprietary visitor tracking technology, Prager Microsystems constantly refines and adjusts each and every web page to maximize conversion into new sales and/or leads.

Results:
Starting at only a few visitors per day, Benner's Gardens has increased its web traffic by over 10,000 percent! To no surprise, the single largest source of new leads and sales generated result from visitors referred to the web site directly from search engines. Due in part to the success of the web site and search engine optimization efforts, Benner's Gardens has recently expanded operations to larger office and warehouse facilities in addition to the hiring of new staff to keep up with business demands.
