As cliché as it sounds, Prager Microsystems was in fact a company born in a one bedroom apartment with just a few computers and an idea.
Barely a year out of college, Steve was presented with the unique opportunity and challenge to quickly liquidate 1,000+ Dell computers for a computer training school going out of business. Since it would be next to impossible to move that kind of inventory locally, Steve decided to design a website to market the computers to a nationwide audience to see what would happen.
Working many nights until 3:00 in the morning, Steve managed to at the time outrank even Dell.com and gain a #1 ranking on Google for the term "dell computers". Two weeks later as a result of that exact search, the corporate office of Northwest Airlines placed an order for every single one of the 1,000+ computers on hand!
Still in disbelief that he just sold 20 pallets of computers, in a single day, to a major airline, all from a one bedroom apartment, Steve became immediately hooked on website marketing and the virtually limitless potential it provides. The very next week, Steve quit his full-time job at a local software company to formally establish Prager Microsystems, and the rest as they say is history.
Steve is responsible for the firm's strategic direction while remaining a hands-on project director actively involved in the oversight of select accounts. Steve holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Computer Science.
Fun Fact: Steve is an avid boater and Licensed Captain of the United States Coast Guard.
