David Hur
Account Manager
David started his career in the realm of Information Technology at the young age of 11 years old when he received his first Trojan horse virus at his home computer in New Jersey. Having only used the computer as a means of entertainment, he was unaware of the massive amounts of damage being done to his machine each time he turned it on every day. When he realized no one in the vicinity could fix his computer, he decided to hunt down the virus himself.
This was the start of turning a regular hobby into a way of life. After scanning thousands of files to manually remove as many copies of the virus he could find, ultimately losing the battle and the computer in the process, David took this lesson and made it applicable to the way he approached information technology. He kept informed and updated on all the business and social trends in the IT field from 1996 to present day, not skipping a beat during his formal education and entrance into the work force.
As a recent graduate, David worked for various companies all utilizing IT in ways to improve their processes. Some of these companies include The Vanguard Group, GSI Commerce, Hyundai Rotem USA Corporation, and myYearbook.com which all have vastly different industries in finance, e-commerce, manufacturing, and social networking respectively. Thanks to the differing work environments, David has gained experience as a Systems Tester, Production Support Analyst, Procurement Assistant, and Quality Assurance Developer.
David is responsible for the firm's client relations, communications, and internal organization of Prager's project life cycles. David holds a Bachelor's degree from Penn State University in the department of Information Sciences & Technology.
Fun Fact: David regularly plays bass guitar, choreographs hip hop dance routines, and proofreads essays during his leisure time.
